Ari & Co UK Ltd respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and what you can do about it.
In short: we collect what we need to send you your order and, if you have asked for it, to send you marketing. We do not sell your data and we do not keep it longer than we need to.

What we collect
When you place an order, we collect your name, delivery address, billing address, email address and the details of your order.
When you pay, we receive confirmation from our payment provider. We never see or store your full card number.
When you sign up for marketing, we collect your email address and whether you open or click our emails.
When you browse the site, we collect your device and browser type, your IP address and the pages you visit, through cookies.
When you contact us, we keep your message and anything you include in it.
Why we use it

To take, process and deliver your order and keep you updated on it. This is necessary to perform our contract with you.

To handle refunds and answer your questions. This is also necessary to perform our contract.

To send you marketing emails, where you have given us consent. You may withdraw that consent at any time.

To keep accounting and VAT records. This is a legal obligation.

To prevent fraud and keep the site secure. This is our legitimate interest.
Who we share it with
We share your information only with the companies that help us run the shop:

Shopify, which hosts our store and processes orders

Our payment providers, as shown at checkout

Royal Mail, to deliver your order

Mailchimp and Shopify Email, to send marketing emails if you have signed up

Our accountant, and HM Revenue and Customs where the law requires it
We do not sell your personal information and we do not pass it to anyone for their own marketing.
Some of these providers store data outside the United Kingdom. Where that happens, we rely on the safeguards approved under UK data protection law.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for six years, as HM Revenue and Customs requires. We keep marketing data until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, after which we keep only enough to make sure we do not contact you again by mistake. We do not keep your personal information for any other purpose.

Marketing
We only send marketing to people who have asked for it. Every email includes an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing does not stop emails about orders you have already placed.
Cookies
We use cookies to keep your basket working, to remember your preferences and to keep the site secure. With your consent we also use cookies to measure how the site is used. You can manage the cookies that are not essential through the banner on our site or through your browser settings.
Children
Our shop is not aimed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Security
Payments are processed securely through Shopify, which is certified to PCI DSS standards, and the site uses encrypted connections throughout. If a breach affects your data we will tell you and the Information Commissioner's Office as the law requires.
